About

jeanettaWhether it was teaching herself to draw cartoon characters by tracing their shapes in coloring books or going through tons of Kodak Discs on her first camera by art directing her dolls in photo shoots, Jeanetta Gonzales was filled with creative outlets and energy from an early age. Born and raised in Connecticut, she left the east coast to attend the School of Fine Art at UCLA and has been a west-coaster ever since. A serious lover of beautiful art, design and photography, art school was the natural choice for her to develop the fundamental skill set needed for a creative career. Art School led to graphic design school and a 15 year career as a designer/art director. Jeanetta and her work has been featured on sites such as Apartment Therapy, Print and Pattern Blog100layercake.com, thejungalow.com and in the publication Artist & Makers.
